you need always 1 piece of leather!

why do you need leather boots to make them, why not just make straight from tanned d'hide?

Kind of well thought out, I think more like no quest, ( you dont need one for reg boots, why these?) takes 1 tanned leather of whatever color you're making them of, and what stats would these be? If they are better than ranger boots, then that'll ruin a branch of merching, and ranger boot prices will plumit(sp?). Think about the ideas some more.

i don't really like the idea. boots would make a ranger set all but pointless
