Nightsword
I just recently came back, and have never really played rs2. I was a diehard RSC player. but since I got tons of freetime at work just sitting here I got some questions. Im going to fish to 75 fishing and then cook all the fish I have. So atfer that im wanting to train combat nonstop. My stats atm are 50att 45def 77str 66hits. Where would be a good place to train nonstop with those stats? Also is rune still the best armor to buy to train in besides dragon? What kindof wep should I use?
Kevinsaurus
Those are pretty good stats. I personally suggest to train at things like moss giants and deadly red spiders now for your attack and defense. Afterwards definitely train in the ice caves on ice giants and ice warriors. They give great drops and lots of xp for combat. After that, I would move forward to lessers. But if your doing it nonstop at only one place, stick with the moss giants, try to find an empty world to fight them in (varrock sewers) Goals: 86 Mining, 20M gp, Total Level 1000PK's: 0 / 100 (LOL)

Also is rune still the best armor to buy to train in besides dragon? What kindof wep should I use? At your defense level, rune is still your best bet. At 70 def, find out about the "barrows" sets. Barrows is p2p only. The best weapon you can really wield is the rune scimmy, once you hit 60 attack look into dragon weaponry - my favourite being the scimmy, and at 70 attack the abyssal whip is the way to go. Dragon stuff and whip are p2p only. For training, i would do your slayer (p2p only) tasks. Why not? more total xp and training another skill at the same time. If you don't want to do that, tell us what you're looking for: good xp? good drops? what kind of thing? For raw xp pest control minigame is -very- popular, though i haven't used it even for melee.
