Ok, so I'm lvl 44 Runecrafting and bought 10k Pure Essence which I need to turn into Nats to alch my 10k yew longs. So I was just wondering if I should use the Abyss or the normal runecrafting altars in order to do this.

abyss is faster with glorys ..10 glorys would get you 1k nats

Ok, should I bother getting Diamond Bracelets to prevent me from getting skulled? Or should I just leave it alone?

Bronze works just as well I'm sure and I suggest wearing the best d hide set you can and use energy potions when you need them.

some bring rune for some reason. mith is lighter than rune and bronze.

Best pick to bring is mith. Weighs 0.00 kg and does just as well as rune!

Abyss. I stocked up on about 30 mithril pickaxes while doing the imp hunter minigame. Run to the abyss with black dhide, boots of lightness, spottier cape and a glory. Lost one glory to a pk over the course of about 5000-6000 nats, which was me not being careful, really. Given the time savings and the money you can make, it's worth even the occasional pk.

I dont think you need the bracelet, with skill and precautions you can avoid troubles

Personally id go abyss but i use a home tele tab instead of glory. I wear black hide and weild a cheap pick or axe. Using protect from mage as i run. I home tele after i make the nats, use my alter and then the glory on the wall. Safe and only marginally slower
