August 3, 200718 yr ok, dds used to stand for dragon dagger (super poison), they changed it to a + system, so ddp is basic poison then there's ddp+ which stands for something I forget, and then ddp++ is the best poison, and yea if your gonna use a dd (dragon dagger) for training, don't poison it. best d weapon for training is either d scimmy or d long, they're equally as good but people seem to like the scimmy for sum reason (IMO cause it looks cooler) but the lost city quest is much much easier than monkey madness! finally back in the game! send me a message, all my old friends quit I laughed so hard I pooped my thong.
August 3, 200718 yr 1. what do dds, ddp, ddp+ and ddp++ stand for? dds used to stand for dragon dagger super (poisoned), but its name was cahnged a while ago to dragon dagger p++ (shorter: ddp++). There also the dragon dagger with a weaker kind of poison, the ddp+, and lastly ddp, which stands for dragon dagger poisoned which has only the weakest possible poison. 2. which should i buy? dds is the best one, so you should buy that one if you are able. 3. out of all the D weps, which one is best for training? The Dragon Scimitar, but you need to complete the quest Monkey Madness to be able to weild it. This signature is intentionally left blank.
August 3, 200718 yr If you are a new member the first 2 dragon weapons you should get are the dragon longsword (For everyday's use, will replace the good ol' rune scimmy Then the ddp++ ever useful for fighting tough quest monsters, or other players.. also very useful when not pking in wildy, just walk around with only a ddp and the stuff you need (like stuff for a clue). It should make you safer because nobody really wants to get super-poisoned and receive absolutely nothing =) Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.
August 3, 200718 yr Heres some answers: - DDP = Dragon dagger p (p=weapon poisoned) - DDP+ = Dragon dagger p+ (p+=+ poisoned) - DDP++/DDS = Dragon dagger p++ (p++=super poisoned) - I recommend you using DDS for PKing and Dragon long sword for training your stats like def str and att. I hope that helped ;) Kino's Journey 4-ever.....̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâä#̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâä Mastermonkers blog ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâä#̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâä
August 3, 200718 yr Most people go for the d scim because its faster than the d long, generally a faster weapon will give faster training. But the d long has a higher str bonus. DDS/DDP++ is good to use, you will usually kill the monster before the poison has enough time to make a big effect and the spec means you can get some fast hits. 99: Agility 28/12/14|Thieving 20/03/15
August 3, 200718 yr The dds is the same as a ddp++ DD is a regualr dragon dagger DDP+ is a dragon dagger poisoned DDP++ is a dragon daggerr with a stronger poison In my Opinion i was go ahead and buy a Ddp++, the poison comes in handy, and if you didnt know the poison never wears away. As far as drag weps, the first you should get is a ddp++, there fairly cheap, and quite good. If you are combat 80+ go ahead and do monkey madness and get yourself a dragon skimmy. They have only a tiny bit lower str bonus than the dragon long, yet they are faster and have a higher attack bonus. Also you must take into consideration that the dragon long does hav a better special, but the ddp++ has the best special out of these three weps. Hope i helped. EDIT: just looked you up on high scores, don't try monkey madness. go for the ddp++ and the d-long. remeber that you have to do that one quest to weild a d-long...
