But I don't have 43 prayer and it is so hard.

 

I've died twice I don't know how to kill it.

I tried ranging it but the mage on that demon hits 25+ nearly every time.

Well get your prayer up and bring good food i.e. swordfish, monkfish, sharks etc. Oh and definetely get your def up. (To 45 atleast)

If ur prayer cant protect from mage, I reccomend you take a msb and some rune arrows and lots of sharks, eat when you need to, when it's on low health from gnomes attacking, then finish it with a msb spec.

You could try trapping the domen on the side of the statue that is near the gnomes. I don't think that he can mage you from there, and you could just wait for the gnomes to kill him. I'm not 100% sure this would work, sorry.

You don't need 43 prayer, you shouldn't even be near the demon. 37 prayer for mage protection and stand far away. you won't even need food that way, the demon will just mage you. you can range it or use mage it. Without 37 pray, it's quite hard since he can hit more than you can eat.

ok to get on topic, you lead the demon into the gnomes and run as far as possible. After like a few min run back and he should be almost dead (you have to give him the finishing blow) id sugest a special such as magic shortbow, dragon dagger, etc etc. That is how we 1 def pures roll =D

Alright once you start the fight run along the wall until you see a small land bridge and run into the ledge. Run along the edge again back towards the gnome, the demon should follow you. Just wait until the demon is almost dead and mage/range the last health. You have to deliver the finishing blow though, otherwise the demon will regenerate to 1/6th of its health.

But the way you described it could have very well gotten him confused, so I cleared it up.

 

 

 

Nice job, I've done it on a 50 defense main, and on two level 1 defense pures.

You can let the gnomes do nearly all the work then use msb spec and keep firing to finish it off.
