The Runar
Please note: this guide covers only the cyclopes in Warriors' Guild, not the one in Ardougne Zoo. Everyone knows Cyclopes. But how to maximize the fun and minimize the time needed? If you wanna know, read more. Index 1. How to get there 2. Requirements and equipment 3. Tokens 4. Cyclopes How to get there Here are the best ways to get to Warriors' Guild. Green: Teleport to Game Rooms with Games necklace. *recommended* Yellow: Teleport to Camelot and walk from there. *not recommended* Red: Teleport to Falador and walk from there. *recommended if you don't have games necklace* Blue: After Another Slice of H.A.M. quest, you can buy a Goblin Village teleport sphere. *recommended if you don't have games necklace* Requirements and equipment First, make sure your Attack + Strenght is at least 130. This is the requirement to get to Warriors' Guild. I'll also recommend you have a defence level of 30-40 before you try to kill Cyclopes. This is the equipment I'll use when I'll killing Cyclopes. You can also try other items, here is some ideas: PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN ONLY KILL CYCLOPES WITH MELEE! 1: Helmet. I'll use Berserker helmet, but Rune and Dragon helms, Helmet of Neitiznot, and Warrior helm are also very good choices. 2: Cape. Take the best cape you have. 3: Amulet. Take fury, glory, power or strenght amulet. They are all good choices. 4: Weapon. Good choices are (from best to worst): Abyssal Whip, Dragon Scimitar, Poisoned Dragon Dagger, Dragon Battleaxe, Dragon Longsword, Rune Scimitar. DON'T TAKE A RANGE OR MAGE WEAPON! 5: Shield. Take Dragon or Rune shield, Obsidian shield, or a defender. 6: Armor. Any armor with good melee defence stats is good. 7: Gloves. Take the best gloves you have. 8: Boots. Take the best boots you have. (Near the guild, there is a sherpa who sells climbing boots only 12 gp each. They will give +2 Strenght bonus.) Now, for the inventory: And what are these items for: White: Money, if you need more food or potions. Red: Mithril armor, if you need more tokens. (explained below) (You can take any armor, but mithril is probably the best.) Green: Warriors' Guild tokens, very important. You need 100+ tokens to fight Cyclopes and every minute you'll lose 10 tokens. I'll take about 200-300 when I'll fight Cyclopes. Blue: If you want, you can buy normal pot set from potion shop on ground floor for under 200 gp ea. They are not needed, but will help you a lot :D Yellow: Food. You can buy potatoes with cheese for 9 gp ea from food shop on ground floor, and they will heal 16 hp each. Tokens Now you need some tokens. Fastest way to get them is Animator Room. You need platebody, platelegs and full helm made from same metal. I'll always use mithril. If you want, you can use addy or rune, but rune might be hard to kill fast enough. Armors below black are not recommended, because they will break too often. When you have an armor, use one part with the animator. (red circles) After a few seconds, an animated armor will appear! Kill it with same items you will use at the cyclopes. Armors aren't too hard to kill. After you have killed the armor, you will get some tokens (better armors will give more tokens) and your armor back. When you have about 200, you are ready to kill Cyclopes! Cyclopes And now the main thing in this guide... the Cyclopes. They are on 2nd floor. There are two different types of Cyclopes; some level 56 Cyclopes, and some level 76 Cyclopes. Level 76 Cyclopes will of course give good items more often. If you have a defender, show it to Kamfreena before you start killing Cyclopes. Now, open the door and start killing! Sometimes you may get a defender from Cyclopes. It's a defending weapon, and it's very useful. When you get a defender, show it to Kamfreena before you kill more Cyclopes. Cyclopes also drop some good items like lvl-3 clue scrolls, Dragon spears, Shield left halves, Half keys, and lots of Black knives, that are really good for range training. Owned_Nex
Good Guide, 8/10. Good for newbies, but nothing new for the rune def wanters. I just wanted to correct your armour chart. Youve got someof it wrong since you can't ware all ofit yet.I also made it to the standard format. -- 1: Helmet=Helmet of Neitiznot>Berserker helmet>Warrior helm>Dragon helm>Rune. 2: Cape=Obby cape>Legends Cape>Skill Cape 3: Amulet=Fury>Glory>Bezerker>Strength 4: Weapon=Abyssal Whip, Dragon Scimitar, Barrelchest Anchor>Dragon Long>Dragon Battleaxe>DDS(You should have for its specials anyways) 5: Shield. Rune Defender>Obby Shield>Dragon Shields>Rune Shields>Addy and below Defender. 6: Armor=Any Barrows Set armour and weapon(Besides Torag, which is defensive only)>Dragon>Rune 7: Gloves= Highest RFD Gloves you can get>Combat Bracelet>Klank's Gauntlets. 8: Boots=Rune Boots>Climbing Boots>Fighting Boots>Boots of Lightness. --- Just revised so it is clearer, and gives better options. Just a wordof advise, dont write notes for everything. Always put options best to [cabbage]. Use notes when it is special, butkeep it to a minimum. Dungeoneering isn't a skill. I'm faster than bots at Sorceress Garden. PM me if you want to chat. My PM is always off. My keyboard is on fire. Want some?
