i wont need food to heal when im training???? true or not is this why guthans is so powerful and expensive??? best armour in game perhaps?

you need the full set (yes...including spear), for the healing effect to work.

 

 

 

the healing effect is random, so you may still need some food, however definitely a whole lot less

Any borrows armor needs to be a complete set to fully work so no you need the spear! And it heals you periodically.

The full set will sometimes heal you for the amount of damage you hit (or would have hit without protection prayer), so, with some monsters it might not be enough, and remember you have to periodically repair the set.
