Stopspe's Guide to Killing Tz-haars for Low Level Combat

First off, i wanna say that this is my first guide.

Tzhaar Killing!!!

 

Alright, so you are a low level and you want to have fun in Runescape. I've got a fun thing to do for you. But, you should probably have the following:

 

Level 60 Combat(recommended)

 

Level 43 Prayer(MUST HAVE)

 

Level 50 Attack and Strength(recommended)

 

Level 12 Herblore(Optional)

 

Monk Robes

 

Good Weapon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Okay, let us begin.

 

 

 

First thing to do if you want to kill Tz-haars, is get some Attack and Strength Potions.

 

 

 

 

 

How to Get Them

 

 

 

To get attack and strength potions you will need to either buy them or make them yourself. If you buy them, Strength Potions are 1k each and I'm not sure about Attack Potions. If your going to make them, follow these steps:

 

1:For strength potions, kill Chaos Druids in Taverly Dungeon for Tarromin(don't drop guams though)

 

2:Get about 100 tarromin, and start killing Hill Giants. The Giants will drop limpwurt roots, needed to make strength potions. Collect around 100.

 

3:Buy vials of water from the general store in East Ardoughne(get around 200), and fill 100 with Tarromin, then use limpwurt roots and you have 100 3 dose strength potions.

 

 

 

 

 

Now for Attack potions

 

1:Kill chaos druids for around 100 guam leaves. Go to Betty's Magic Emporium(the rune shop in port sarim) and buy 100 eye of Newts(bank in draynor)

 

2:Use guam with Vials of water, and then use the eye of newts to get attack potions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FINALLY! WERE READY TO KILL!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

KILLING THE TZ-HAARS!

 

 

 

Get 30 coins, your monk robes, and your weapon, go to Port Sarim, and take a ride to Karamja. Go west until you get to the volcano, and enter. Next to the rope you will see a cave with black and red lights. Go in. Go east till you get to a bank, and withdraw your potions. Drink a dose of each, then turn on prayer and attack a tz-haar. DO NOT GO TOO FAR FROM BANK!!! I recommend killing the level 133's. They drop Obby Weapons, and tokkul. Kill 1, then if your prayer is above 30, attack another. If not, go to the bank. Near the bank is a white cave entrance. Enter it. You will be in the fight caves. Try hard for tokkul, and once you die, you will come back to the Tz-haar bank with full prayer. Repeat, and have fun!

 

 

 

 

 

Da Monsters!

 

Tzhaar-Xil: This guy is level 133 with 120 Hitpoints. I recommend killing these. He uses Range and Melee, so if you are getting hit with prayer on, switch to the other prayer. DO NOT KILL IN MARKETPLACE

 

Tzhaar-Ket: This guy is level 149 with 140 HP!!! Kill at your own risk. These are hard for low levels like you and me! Use Protect from Melee Prayer. DO NOT KILL IN MARKET PLACE

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The LOOT!

 

We are not here for loot, but if you are lucky, you could get one of the following:

 

Tokkul

 

Obsidian Maul(not from lvl 133's) These sell for about 200-230k

 

Obsidian Sword/Knife(From lvl 133)Noone buys, just sell for Tokkul

 

Obsidian Cape(from both Tz-Haars) If you have one, sell it for money(250k-300k) or Tokkul.

 

Obsidian Shield(From Both) Sell it for tokkul or GP(300k-320k)

 

Obsidian Rings(Ranger Lvl 133's) Sells for 2k gp each.

 

Gems Saphire-Diamond, keep a diamond if you want to get into Zanaris Marketplace, or just sell for tokkul

 

 

 

 

 

When I say "sell for tokkul", I mean sell it to the Weapon Shop in tzhaar for high amounts of Tokkul. IF you get 300k Tokkul(260k with Karamja gloves) then you will be able to buy an uncut onyx(not sure of price, its somewhere in the millions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Note:This is not good for money-making, if you are level 80 or above, just use food and you'll get your drops. For low levels like me, just have fun! =D>

The getting ready part is bigger than the main part :shock: Not that there is anything wrong with that, in fact, i like it how you say you should make your own pots and use prayer+monk robes

 

Anyways, you should have a list of what you can do with the obby drops, IE, say you can sell The obby noodle for 37k, or sell it to the shop for 3k tokull. (hehe, noodle....)

 

 

 

Adding to my comment above, you should have a drop list of what the monsters drop.

 

 

 

Tell them to not kill them in the market place, or else they will most likely die, as they attack you when you attack them.

 

 

 

Say the HP of the monsters, and also say that one type of 133 has a ranged wepon, so when they run to recharge prayer in the cave, they dont get killed.

 

 

 

6/10 because you give discriptive info on how to get there, materials, ect... but lacking in the killing part.

 

 

 

9/10 once you add more things (most likely)... and now it is a 9/10!

--The Tzharr drop uncut jems from saph to dimond

 

--The range 133s can drop their range rings, which fetch a price of about 2k ea.

 

 

 

Just to carafy, the 133 doens't do range/melee, like the guide informs.

 

Most of them do only melee, the ones with the swords and knives, but the ones with the rings do range when you are away from them, and do melee when next to you.

Why not just spend 100k on getting a rune hally?

You can use a rune hally, but theres a lot of competition with rangers and mages if you use one.

If your level 60 just seems better to kill something easier, rather than kill these that are pretty hard for level 60's

hi o.k guide 5/10. im here to help u make it better. frist if u get obby capes or shields sell for cash and then buy obby mauls (200k-220k ea) and sell for tukkul.Obby mauls sell for better tukkul than capes and shields.If u are lucky anough to get a uncut onxy(unlike me+ :evil: ) u can trade 1 cosmic 20 earths 20 fires and uncut onxy for a fury amult east of seers bank in world 18 or under.Furys sell for 3.8m-4.5m :shock: :shock: :shock: .If they have odne requirment drive the should wear iniate instead of minks robes b/c of better paryer bonus or if the have done sea slug and other quest for ployrestor(not sure how to spell u mite have to look up) they should wear that do to its great paryer bounus of 30+.They should also wear and unholy or holy symbol for paryer.If they were really deicated to killin these (like me tryinf or dhs legs and helm to have full set) they can buy p pots(paryer restore) for 8k ea at edge and super sets for 10kea at edge also.U should also add some pics(u mite have and my comp didnt load) to show were to go, were to kill them, and were cave at.From the tazhars i have gotton 4 capes,3 shield, 5 or 6 knives,2 or 3 swords,100-200 rings, 0 staffs(dont kill mages inless really want staff cause lvl 144 will att u if he is around :anxious: )1 mual( i mostly get shields or capes from lvl 144 i never get a mual).if u add this stuff to ur guide it will be a perfect guide =D> =D> =D> =D> .have fun killin tazhars if u want to kill with me i kill on world 98 or 78.im the guy with iniate helm and legs dhs pl8 and axe, obby cape,rune boots, and glory(mite have fury if i ever get anough tukkul).happy tazhar killin

i dont think this plae was meant for ppl under lvl 80.. too many ways to get killed..if it was for under lvl 80 then they woukld of put the mage there to "guard" the lvl 74's.. 0/10 casue more lower lvls will be there now thx alot
