August 6, 200718 yr Hi all, I have a few k chaos runes in my bank having completed a load of barrows runs. Can anyone recommend what monsters would be good to use fire bolts on? I'm primarily looking for mage xp, but would welcome something with decent drops too. My mage lvl is 65. Thanks in advance.

August 6, 200718 yr Author My prey level is 51. Not sure why that is important though, as I assume there are safespots that mean i don't need protect from melee? Are anti fire pots worth the investment? If so, rougly how many chaoes runes will be used up per 4 doses?

August 6, 200718 yr yeah steel/iron dragons are your best bet. you dont need prayer at all as the dragons stay on 1 spot and use their fireball attack, just weild a antifire shield, sip an antifire and you'll never get hit. you can stay there for hours provided you have enough chaos and antifires.

August 6, 200718 yr I was thinking of training my magic by murdering dozens of innocent monsters, too. High alching is the most irritating thing I've ever done besides the mazes in the Mage Training Arena :wall: I still haven't built up the strength to go back to get bones to peaches... ANYWAYS how much do a-fire pots cost? I trained my herblore up to 30 something to make my own prayer pots, I suppose I could do the same to avoid another cost, if the requirement isn't too high.
