Well I finally got Photoshop, so gave my shot at a space sig.

The main planets texture IS NOT MINE: I used the download from this link: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/12065693/ as I just wanted something to test it out with and am only learning to make textures.

For the moon texture I used this tutorial (even though it's small and not very visible): http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/11501889/

For the star I used this tutorial: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/2011412/

Just incase anyone wants to check them out, I found them very useful :)

The planet/starfeild creation was very simplistic (which you can probably tell) and apparently my display is darker than average so my crappy brushing in the starfeild didn't turn up quite as much.

Comments always appreciated, especially for my first try ;).

i love it :) The placement of the planets is great, and the reflections you did and stuff is very nice too. Definitly better than my first by a long shot :)

now just work on some more planets + brushing your scenes ,and you'll be great :D

The starfield looks great IMO, but the only thing I'm not so sure I like is the nova or whatever that separates the planets. It's just a little too simplistic.
