Ive tried to kill them with melee and the magic attack they have just takes me out fast. Any suggestions?

they are very easy with blk d hide.. just use atk and str pot and everything else in invenrory lobs and you can doo 100 on a load of food

Are you wearing insulated boots?

Their attack is magic-based: you should wear the best dragonhides available to you. Also make sure that you use insulated boots.

 

Melee seems to be the best to attack them with.

With my stats and wearing red dhide chaps and body, the boots, a god cape, a mind shield, barrows gloves and the bearhead I still waste too much food on them. They're great exp, however, and I have lots of spare tunas in my bank, but if you just find that they hit too much on you, change the task.

i use lobs.. the air b staves pay for food.. i get around 5 out of a 100 task which is 50k
