I actually like the first one, althought it could use a bit more colour..

 

 

 

I dont really like the second one, The colours dont really match, and there is way too much black.. The text on the second one isnt that good either, the bevel is alright, but the colour in it...Try to make it match the colours of the sig..

All I did was Clouds > Difference Clouds (5 times on black/white, 2 times on black/red) > Brightness/Contrast > Hue/Saturation > Duplicate Layer > Horizontal Flip > Blending Mode to Lighten > Nudge to where it looked cool.
