I've never had a dragon drop and now my main target is to get one.

 

How often do fire giants drop Dragon Meds or Left Halfs? :| :wall:

Very rare. I'm yet to have any Dragon Drops from Fire Giants, but from other people I've heard it's something like a 1% chance. :?

its less then that, around .1%

it's way more than 1%

 

with one percent chance you would get like one every hundred kills.

What would you say would be best for a level 77 looking for a dragon drop?

dragon drops are rare, and they dont drop often. fire giants hardly drop meds at all, and i didnt even get my first drag drop till i was 96 combat, and i killed fire giants from 50 range to 72, and got this many dragon meds: 0

You could probably run 2k nats and buy a d med faster than you would get one from a fire giant.

tbh, barrows may be your best bet. I've had 2 meds in less than 100 runs.

Freeze/thaw. I killed over 8000 fire giants training range to 92, and got zero dragon drops. Plenty of rune drops tho, and have 100k fire runes still to use up!
