Jimmys_Pk
If you use swift switch, you may have it muted through that. If not I have no idea. :?

kam42705
Hit Start, Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, then click Volume Control. Make sure that it isn't muted there. Then, try to see if sounds from other things work, if not, check your cables. Also, try to reboot your computer. i mean wth no1 cares about that weak noob that was scared of the great almighty lord ZAROS!

zonda
Make sure your "wave" and "sw synth" are turned on. I beleive wave controls the loading sounds in RS and sw synth will control the actual ingame sounds... or vice versa.   Other than that - if your saying other sounds work, you've tried other clients, and your in game sound is turned up I wouldn't have any idea.   ... ormoke
Yes those were on, now rs also keeps spinning if u do sumthing idk what with my arrow keys, it stops when i press the arrow to the spinning direction. That ain't really a problem.   Still needs sound help. Hobgoblin11
Turn your speakers up :   Have you tried using a different sound output (i.e. headphones as opposed to speakers). Tried using a different audio output socket?   Is it JUST RS sound that is out, do all the other sounds on your PC work? If it's all out, you may have fried your soundcard somehow.    Other than that, I'm all out. Is your Java up to date? 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength
dsavi
Reinstall your sound drivers, make sure nothing is muted. If you're on XP go to sound recorder->options(I think)settings?->and then I think from there you can change your wave table synth.
kam42705
Try to see if sounds from other places work (example: Another website, etc.)Â Also, check that the wires are properly plugged in, and if necessary, replace them if no sounds at all work. Sometimes the problem may lie in the sound setting. Go to the Control Panel, and click on Sounds and Audio devices. Â Under the Speaker Settings Section, hit advanced. Choose the setup most like your current speaker one, then hit performance, and make sure hardware Acceleration and Sample Rate conversion Quality are at Full and Best. Then hit OK. In the Audio tab, under Sound playback, choose Sigma Tel Audio option (if available), if not, then choose anything other than Moden # 0 Playback. Now, under MIDI music playback, choose Microsoft FS Wavetable SW Synth. The other option is to just check the box saying use only default devices. Now hit OK, and reboot your computer. This should solve the Problem... i mean wth no1 cares about that weak noob that was scared of the great almighty lord ZAROS!

kam42705
In that case, update your Java to the latest version. That might be able to solve it.... i mean wth no1 cares about that weak noob that was scared of the great almighty lord ZAROS!
