Should I do the quest? I saw that there were quite a few high lvl monsters on the quest guide and I'm worried about those. Do I have to kill any of them or just run through them?

Not all F2Pers are beggars or scammers, some are respected members, but these respected people are over-populated by these beggar and scammers.

You'll have to kill them. But you have 45 prayer!! You can protect-melee everything.

Would 45 prayer be enough to hold them off or should I bring 1-2 prayer potions?

You'd probably need a couple ppots just to be safe.

since you got 45 prayer, you are able to kill every non monster boss in runescape,so u dont have to worry at all

the boss monster from shio village can be killed in turns...u kill 1 form and than u come back and kill another...just in case u didnt bring enough of p pots

Edit:i would bring 4 p pots in ur case

i did the quest at 64 combat and with similar stats, so i think 3 prayer pots and an inv of lobs will be enough.
