yeeeeah back again with 2 new songs, Hip Hop(tenative title really, no clue what my friend is gonna call it, uses the beat of I Wanna Get To Know You though) and I Heard (Lil) Wayne Retired... both really good songs/good verse but I thought IHWR wasn't that great after I recorded it, meh. Hip Hop is only a verse long...my friend still has to spit on the track also so lemme know what you think or add me on myspace:

but how your voice sounds matters too obviously and i think your voice sounds much better in tension and listen. the other two songs seem like you are tryin to force your voice deeper. but i dont know maybe its just me

 

 

 

 

 

and btw i was kinda surprised at how lyrical your verses are, i though they would suck

I layered my voice on the hooks for tension and listen, I didn't do that for the others so that's why and I'm a more lyrical MC rather then the chains and rims and I wasn't forcing my voice to go deeper we recorded those 2 at 2-3 in the morning lol

Not too bad, better than I expected. I like your rapping segments, but I really don't like the MCing parts (as in, the intro to Tension), but that's more to do with my stylistic tastes. I also like the melody playing throughout Listen. Your words really flow, and you obviously have talent. I can't really review the content of your lyrics at the moment though, due to people sleeping, and because I not having headphones, I can't turn it up louds enough. On that note, it would be a good addition to add the lyrics to each of the songs on the MySpace play. But overall, quite impressive.

Ya know, like when I was freshman year on our bus my friend Dylan started calling me Big C as a (dirty) joke lol but then I actually started rapping and stuff and put the name to use and originally it was just like Big Corey cause Corey's my first name but then I bought this game called DDR:Supernova(not sure if you know what it is but awesome dancing game) and I unlocked all the songs on the game and they had this one called Chaos and I used to try to freestyle to it(and also proclaim that I do infact cause Chaos on beats) while playing the game on a controller. I looked at it like I'd have a name that could appeal to the public but also capture the attention of the people who I really wanna make music for.

 

 

 

Most underground listeners or just concious rap listeners would be like, wow Big C- how original? But if you know where it comes from then they'll be like, this dude's telling the truth....idk, it makes sense to me :P
