Last night i was totaly entreeged by 99 crafting....so i decided to work out how much it would cost...

 

my answer was that id loose under 8m

 

 

 

the sum i did was...67316*3=201948

 

201948*1500=302922000

 

302922000-(67316*4610)=7404760

the question is,

 

if theres anyone out there good at math could you check my sum?

 

because i think thats an unbeleivable loss for 99 crafting

67316 is the amount of boddies i need

 

201948 is amount of hides

 

302922000 is how many gp it will cost for all the hides

and the bit in brackets is basicly, the cost of all the hides minus what id get from alchs

any clearer?

thats 201,948 green dhides.

 

 

 

you're buying at 1,500ea

 

so it'll cost 302,922,000.

 

 

 

high alch of green dhides bodies is 4,680

 

and according to your calculations you're getting nats at 70ea

 

 

 

so you'll need to spend 302,922,000 + 67,316*70 = 307,634,120

 

and you'll get 4,680*67,316 = 315,038,880

 

 

 

which means you'll get an overall profit of 7,404,760.

 

 

 

yup, profit cos your cost per body (1500*3+70= 1570) is less than the high alch value (4680)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyway, you forgot to add in the 20gp cost in tanning at alkharid (canifis is nearer and cost more). furthermore green dhides are hard to get at 1500 ea. AND nats at 70ea? i assume you're crafting them yourself here. BUT if you sold them at 300ea instead of using them for this, you'll be actually losing 120gp per green dhide body here.
