August 17, 200718 yr Aha! A plant topic. As in, growing flowers, vines, bushes, and such. I recently got very interested in growing these - I got a few spider-plant offspring with around 4-5 inch leaves on them from my science teacher that produces them like crazy. left it in a pool of water on the window seal for a week or so then planted them, and currently they've taken up the entire pot and are growing enormous stalks that are producing offspring and flowers. (One's defiantely at least a foot and a half long.) The offspring I just planted in another pot of soil today, after letting it's roots get cut. If I can, I'll get some pictures of both .. I aim on getting more diverse types of plants to grow, it's really fun to watch something grow and produce 'babies'. Haha. I'm wondering if anyone could give me some tips on better ways of helping my plants? Or if anyone grows any themselves? me and kashi are running for president in '08.
August 17, 200718 yr Doesn't really sound like your plants need any help  Never heard of those plants by the way.
August 17, 200718 yr Author Hey, any help is good help. Tips help sprout new ways to do things that could be better. Anyways, a picture of some of them: Spider Plant Pretty plain, but hell of a lot easy .. me and kashi are running for president in '08.
August 17, 200718 yr Make sure you trim your plants before they grow too big. When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!"

Oh. I have dozens of those in my back yard, and they grow like weeds. We cant get rid of them. We had like four of them seven years ago, and now we literally have hundreds. We have to pull out the new sprouts so they dont choke out everything else.
August 17, 200718 yr I think ive seen them sort of plants before. Erm, you could just cut off a few of the leaves right at the bottom of the stems, but I dont really know sorry. I bought a plant a few montrhs ago, and it was quite small as far as I can remember. Now its taken up the majority of quite a big plant pot. This page could help you. Use "find" to search for trim, and on the second one, it tells you how to trim the leaves without damaging the plant. (If you dont know how to get "find" up, click Ctrl and F, then type in trim and go to the second one).
