August 17, 200718 yr Ok, thanks for clicking and getting this far. I'm currently level 93 fishing, 7451915xp at the time of posting, fishing monk fish. My question is this, which do you think would best way to get to level 99 fishing? Previously I have been doing barehanded fishing, but I'm wondering overall what you think the best way (if there is such a thing) to get my hands on that skill cape. "Boy, sure would be nice to have some grenades, don't you think you think?"

August 17, 200718 yr Well, I am not 99 Fishing but I measured different methods. Barbarian fly-fishing is the fastest way. Monkfish is the most rewarding. Here are my 15 min averages at lvl 79 Runescape Reader's Digest

August 17, 200718 yr I'm catching monkfish right now, 94 fishing atm. As that graph shows, it looks like barbarian fly-fishing or normal fly fishing is best. I prefer monk fishing, good fishing exp and cooking exp when you cook them. monkfish i got 97 - 99 in 2 days without even no lifeing (cept last 100k xp in middle of night) 97-99 in 2 days!!!??? Man, I can only manage around 2-3k monks in 2 days. :( No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
