August 20, 200718 yr After I obtain my 99 magic cape (yes, I am DETERMINED to get this, and I will by next year [i've calculated carefully :)] ), I may be searching for a second 99 skill to get that sexy blue trim on the mage cape. However I need some info from you guys about how much exp I can obtain hourly using the best possible method (without spending OBVIOUSLY too much money such as W66 Laws to 99 rc or making prayer pots or something to 99 herblore). I'm more interested in the fact that I will have another 99 skill and thus a trimmed cape over the use of a 99 skill (e.g. 99 firemaking has basically no use whatsoever, albeit fast to train). I have heard that: Firemaking Cooking Fletching Thieving (180,000 exp per hour at pyramid plunder at 91 thieving, wtf?) ... are the fastest skills to train for minimal loss of money. If someone could label each skill with the reasonable maximum amount of exp that I can receive without spending too money, as well as the method used to get to 99, that would be helpful. To be honest, I wouldn't want to spend 10 million gp or more on the skill, unless it is a skill that is actually useful at 99 level. Those interested, here are my current stats (this will change in 4 months to 91 runecrafting and 99 magic):
August 20, 200718 yr Well, and have 610 exp points left to 99 Thieving (gonna get the cape on Tuesday) and I can confirm the 180K number. Yes, that's what you get. Runescape Reader's Digest
August 20, 200718 yr Fletching - Probably easily between 100k and 200k xp an hour Thieving - I can also confirm that you will get 180k+ xp per hour after 91 thieving. I got a max of 200k xp per hour, actually. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
August 20, 200718 yr i know that hunt, u can make up to 100k per hr. but hunt is way to easy so -.-( gonna get my capeon saturday maybe = )
August 20, 200718 yr firemaking is fast if you're rich enough to get yews.. maples are fast too. but it'll get kinda boring.
August 20, 200718 yr Author Thanks for the info on exp/hr :). Which would be fastest to raise from say, 1 to 99: cooking, fletching or firemaking? (for fm I would burn the maples I receive from MTK and for cooking and fletching I would do it the standard ways)
