nicrune007
Sometimes... Once every few hour i will lose internet connection >I am using a router >"the internet cable is unplugged" messege Does not pop out >After i plug out the wire and put it again >A messege " Windows might have no or limited connectivity" shows > then i got my internet connection back! Also, What model/make is your router? Are you on cable or DSL? How are you connected to the router (Wireless or Ethernet cable?)? Hitman247m
You should power-cycle everything.. Turn off the modem and unplug the power on the router. Wait for a few minutes, then, turn the modem back on. Let all the lights on the modem turn back on (except for ethernet, enet, or whatever else they call it) then, plug the router back in and let everything connect. That usually fixes all the router-related issues I have \

JoeDaStudd
Go to this site and Enter DI 624 (which should be your router model, best to double check it first though) then check the revision and download the latest firmware. Follow the instructions on how to install it. If this solves the problem then its great otherwise I'm stumped as I've never used a cable internet connection  , but it might just be a firmware issue which the above would fix. blade995
Hmm i donwloaded this BIN file.. and i don't know what to do with it Then you need to go into the router's config and click on update firmware. To get into the config type 192.168.1.1 into a web browser that is connected to the router.
