The Leprecon's Secret - a quest idea

I was bored so I thought i would think of a quest with good new rewards

 

 

 

Flame away or whatever I was bored and thought this would be a good one

 

 

 

The Leprecon's Secret

 

 

 

Difficulty level: Medium

 

 

 

Start location: South West of Lunar Isle - Talk to Cyrisus ( the man you helped in Dream mentor)

 

 

 

Required:

 

 

 

Quests: Dream Mentor, fremennik Isles, Desert Treasure

 

 

 

Skills: Level 65 Agility, Level 79 Crafting, Level 56 Woodcutting, Magic of 86 or above, Ability to defeat a level 145 Rainbow Beast which has high defence and uses a Saradomin strike along with Melee

 

 

 

Items: 10 ropes, woodcutting axe, knife, hammer, bronze nails or any others, Enough runes to make 20 planks (Lunar magic) you cannot use any planks as you will find out in quest.

Skills: High Prayer

 

 

 

Items: Good armour, weapons, and food, Ring of visability

 

 

 

Monsters: Rainbow Beast (Level 145), Possesed Trees (Level 42)

Story behind the quest

 

 

 

You pay a visit to cyrisus the now ever adventurous fighter of beasts - He is glad you turned up and begins to tell some information from a recent adventure.

 

 

 

He went to the Kharidian desert to fight anything going and whilst inside a pyramid discovered the remains of an adventurer, the remains were very old and seemed from the 3rd age period, he found a strange hand drawn picture of a Lepricon holding a huge pot of gold and an odd looking necklace - the notes on the picture stated the following -----

 

 

 

I went to a strange Half moon shaped island with some very odd but aggresive creatures, after venturing further I discovered my Ring of visability revealed a very large hidden tree going into the clouds, I went up - the rest of the notes had been destoyed for a few pages......... the final input on the notes stated he found a large pot of gold and a necklace which had magical properties and seemed to give him alot of luck.

 

 

 

You become very interested in the story and decide to find out more and hopefully discover riches

Tips, tricks & notes:

 

 

 

There are 2 kinds of crystal neckalaces

 

 

 

1. Amber - Obtain from the Lepricons tree resin - this acts like the Ring of wealth and also has some telports like the Glory - teleports being The Lepricons tree, Sophanem and Lletya

 

 

 

2. Lapis Lazuli - This has 4 charges and heals you to 100% HP

 

 

 

Esential/spell oils

 

 

 

Benzoin Oil - Protects you from the sun for a few minutes

 

Clove (Bud) Oil - Protect from magic spells for a few minutes

 

Spell Oil - Mars - Temporarily boosts Strength by 30%

 

Spell Oil - Pluto - You are reborn were you died

 

Spell Oil - Saturn - Gives more chances of getting higher lvl seeds when pick pocketing Farmer etc

 

Spell Oil - Sun - Stop any hostilites from monsters around you - you are seen as a friend

Regardless, the rewards are insanely good for any quest really, regardless of difficulty. Unless it is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaally difficult.

Day 20: The Pirates did well, and we managed to reach the island. After docking, I entered to find a group of odd, and very aggressive creatures. Still wearing my powerful ring, I came upon a giant tree, so giant in fact that its' canopy stretched into the clouds. I sheathed my sword and began to ascend-*The following pages were torn out*-and lo and behold, there was a giant pot of gold. Waiting for me at the bottom of the chest was an odd colored necklace. When I chained the piece around my neck, I felt a vibrant rush, almost as if they item was...lucky.

 

 

 

And also, it'd be leprechaun, not lepricon (unless that's a purposeful misspelling)
