Managing kingdom

There isn't much strategy, just pay money into it and choose what you want out of it. I chop and change on a monthly basis, some months I want coal, others I want herbs. One thing I keep constant is maples but that is just for tree seeds. Just make sure you keep your popularity high and you'll be sweet...

yea there isnt much strategy involved actually, just keep the money in your coffers above 750k or above 1.25m if you are richer...then cut maples every day...the way u allocate resources is entirely up to you...i usually get them to cut maples and flax or herbs.

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?

my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

Strategies for MTK can depend on what you want to get out of it. You can either tailor you're strategy to get resources you can't get by other methods eg birds nests or you can try to maximise profit.

So if you want bird nests for tree seeds you should put 100% on maples. You could then try and make your kingdom self sufficient by putting the other 50% on a profit making resource such as flax or coal (although flax is getting hard to sell). Basically compare the cost of the resources to the current street price and see what makes the most profit. If money is no object of course you could put the other 50% in herbs or anything else that takes your fancy.
