August 27, 200718 yr I am level 41 ranged, and I want to know what are the best ways to get to 47, 50 and then around 60. Every method I try ends up painstakingly slow and boring. I have a yew long bow, and full green dragonhide (and no desire to obtain robin hood hats or ranged boots). Can someone please give me some advice, I REALLY don't want to have to use the tears of guthix to increase my ranged. August 27, 200718 yr Use a yew short bow. They fire faster and use rapid. I'd say go to moss giants. I was f2p and i went from 40-60 at moss giants on crandor. I don't really know any other place in p2p to go for moss giants. You could also range ogres at the king lathas training camp Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
August 27, 200718 yr You could try minotaurs in the SoS. You'll probably end up getting the ammo you use back. And ya use a shortbow on rapid for faster training.

August 27, 200718 yr Personally I love and always will love Iron Knives and Rock crabs. I went from 21-55 in a day... If i remember right it was 3 or so hours (maybe more I don't know, I lose track of time playing RS #-o ) However I do hear Minotaurs are good for xp too, and you should get a bunch of iron arrows in the process making it cheaper to train later or free if you use iron arrows there. Apparently, my signature was to big.
