Sweet thanks for the help, I forgot to mention I had an XP. I know nothing about Firewalls, so if you hadn't mentioned Windows Firewall, I wouldn't have gotten any further. Some programs are automatically detected and Windows automatically gives the program internet access. Some you will have to allow. Although that does not make the Windows firewall good. It only asks for programs that try to listen for incoming connections, not ones that attempt to make outgoing connections. I would still go for the zone alarm firewall though, it is better than the windows firewall.
