What would be better for me: sell iron ores, or smelt them into bars (ring of forging) and sell them for double the price? Is it easy to sell them as bars? Thanks,

I think it would actually be best if you then proceeded to make all the bars into either throwing knives or arrowheads. That way you could get more smithing exp and possibly quadruple the value per ore.

you could use your iron in bars and make plates out of those for smith exp. also, you could use them with coal to make steel bars. you could either smith the bars or sell them 600-650 ea

I think making bars would be best, as you get smith xp, and double the cash you would have gotten. Probably the people you would sell the ores to would either do that, or make c balls with coal they also buy.
