i've never had this but the best thing to do is to reset your computer..

 

if that doesn't work then i don't know

404 means the page you're requesting isn't on the server, probably best to clear your cache and try again.

I actually have had that happen. It's a glitch of some sort, USUALLY not Runescape-related though. Sometimes your computer gets confused; even though your internet connection is technically open, it basically thinks it isn't and won't open any new webpages. Runescape is a webpage, so that inclues RS. Rebooting your comp should fix it.

It worked because restarting your computer cleared your cache. :D
