September 6, 200718 yr Author shilo village is faster indeed, but the cooking takes longer. Actually, I'm doing barbarian pole fishing. it's slightly faster fishing xp, you gain a little agility, strength, and cooking XP, (very low besides the fishing,) but the fish you catch are reused as bait, so no need to buy feathers or whatnot and no one is ever there.
