hey guys I'm wearing d legs and granite plate but they seem to be hitting alot on me, I've never melee'd them b4, any advise?

They tend to hit a bit when your defense is low (60s to low 70s) I have no problems guthaning them, so consider a black mask (if it's for slayer) and torags or guthans, depending on your cash.

any barrows will work well there, but if you want to stay there a long time, go with guthans. you might want to keep rune or some other armour to wear when you arent healing.

I live with my blk mask on! and how much is torags armour? cause I've only got 1.9mil =(

torags without hamms is 1.5-1.6 i think. hamms are only 100k though if you want the full set.

I know this is an extremely dumb question but, if I wear everything but the hammers and the helmet will it still decay? or is it only if its worn as an entire set that it decays?

any piece you wear will decay during combat, even if the set is or isnt complete.

if you're strapped for cash, don't buy the helm. I do have one, but almost never use it (except for like barrows). You can save about 300k this way.

Fire Giants at the Waterfall can be killed from a safespot with a Halberd quite easily. I trained on them with a Halberd from 97-99 Strength and found them to be very effective. If you decide to Hally them I would suggest wearing things that will increase your accuracy and strength. If halberding you do not have to worry about a defence bonus, or even food for the most part. Wear the black mask for sure.
