timdagreat4 Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 how many multiple targets can the barrage and burst spells hit max, I heard its only 9 on a 9x9 grid but I also heard it can hit up to 21 people o a death dot. timdagreat4 Posted September 3, 2007 Author Share Posted September 3, 2007 Cheers mate, so... 50 damage per shot average*9 = 450 exp per shot cost per shot = 4 chaos, 2 death = 4*100 + 2*280 = 960gp per shot . 960/450 = 2.13 xp per gp high alch = 1.54 xp per gp (for me) which is better... Anicients, which is safer high alch all skills 60 plus!! IMshadow7 Posted September 3, 2007 Share Posted September 3, 2007 Personally, I'm not a big fan of ancient magic training. It does technically work, but the spells are pretty expensive for training. Furthermore, most of your magic exp comes from CASTING the spell, not the DAMAGE of the spell. While damage does increase the exp, it's smaller than how it relates to range and melee, for example.
