I have 2 mod friends and they always joke about coming down to say stuff to people.

the lvl 101 is a noob. Mods can only mute if they have a good reason too (and jagex would probably ban the mod for a few days if they decided to mute you for their own benefit) This level 101 was definately just trying to scare you because he didn't want you "stealing" all the xp.
