Combat Guide

When you are engaged in combat you will see your character using the wielded weapon (or just his fists and feet) to attack the opponent and vice versa. Damage inflicted on each other will be shown as splash numbers showing how much will be deducted from your hp (hit points). When you reach 0 hp you will die and re-appear in Lumbridge or Falador (members can change this after completing the Recruitment Drive quest) with only the 3 best items you had in your inventory at the time. If you had a 'skull' over your head from attacking other players in the wilderness, you will lose all your items that were in your inventory. In all cases, you can't lose what is in your bank. The amount of damage each combat participant has taken is indicated by a horizontal bar above their head. If your bar is entirely green you are not hurt; it will turn red as you are hit. If the bar goes entirely red you're dead!

I think the best wording would be:

When you reach 0 hp you will die and re-appear in Lumbridge,Falador, or Camelot (members can change this after completing the Recruitment Drive quest and Knight Waves Training Ground mini-quest respectively.) with only the 3 best items you had in your inventory at the time.

However, no matter what change is made, it will still be very wordy.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hadn't yet gotten around to this change from the King's Ransom quest.

Added the Camelot respawn.

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
