Mith Bars or Rune Mining - Santa

I currently have 60 mining and 50 smithing. I would like to get to a Santa.

 

 

 

Do I use superheat to make mith bars in the mining guild til i hit about 20k of them or do I powermine iron to 85 then mine rune to a santa?

 

 

 

Which way is easier or better?

Well, I believe the superheating of mithril bars would be faster. You could do that until you reach 85 mining, and then mine rune? I am sure by that time you will be well on your way to getting a santa hat. If you are a member, mining/superheating mith bars will be even more effective, because the mines are almost always empty. :roll:

I would think that mining rune would be faster cash, but as the previous poster mentioned, you'll still need to train to 85 mining, and the mith bar option might be an option while you train to that level.

I'd say mith bars. Mining rune isn't actually as easy as you might think.
