3D render programs and info on Bryce?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for 3d render programs, that are free. (No money to spend on this)

I have the Cinema 4D trial, but its a pain to crop it every time I take a screenshot of my renders. So I'm looking for other free programs.

Bryce-Pretty sure its to buy, but is there a free trial, and where?

Thanks for any help! :P

Well, most decent 3D programs with full functionality will cost a lot of money. So if you just want to screw around and make a couple sigs, there is really not point in going through the trouble to get one (even if its free).

However, two free ones I know of is Blender 3D and Gmax. You definitely won't get a good 3D modeling feel using the freeware programs, and your images won't be nearly as good unless you work with the program for years.

Thankee, I'll check em out.

I believe gmax doesn't have a built in renderer, so prepare to download a plugin or two.

First modeling program I ever used, It's fairly easy.

Just a note, Gmax is basically 3dsmax stripped down of alot of functions and a renderer (3dsmax=pay)

You don't have to take a screenshot of your render in C4D, here's how you do it.. Well my way:
