Getting members soon, need some help.

In about 2 weeks I will be getting members for slogging for my studies for the past year.

So, I read the guide on tipit, and didn't find it to be *too* useful.

Then I thought, why not ask members themselves?

So I have one super pressing question before moving on.

How EXACTLY do they deduct members credits?

Do they still deduct if even if you don't play?

Now that's over with, my other question:

How do I get ready for members?

What do I need to do?

And please, don't quote any grammatical mistakes/spelling errors. It's extremely spammy to me -.-

Without further ado, help me! :-s

yup they will deduct whether you are playing or not. so the best is to make sure you have a hell lot of free time during that month. thats why i only get membership during the school holidays

ill recommend getting a good sum of money which should not be too hard with your levels. around 1-2m although i know thats rather difficult for a member to obtain. try and get a whip if you are gonna be training combat. to make money in members i suggest increasing your rc till u can craft nats too. most probably you would have done all the f2p quests but if you have not then do them. once you get p2p complete all those quests recommend by tip.it members guide. other ways to make money include killing green dragons with each dragon giving you around 3+k or barrowing once you are able to use slayer dart. if you are really quite rich already...try and use the manage your kingdom mini game which gives a reasonable pay off and the guide is on tip it mini games.

maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cooking

life may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?

my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it

Ranked in all F2P skills, not a bad start, but your strongest support skill seems to be woodcutting... Yews would be easier in members, less autos.

Fishing is another strong skill, and also better in members (easier banking of Lobs & swordies).

Your cooking level is just one short of a high healing option, Tuna potato, or you can do a Mushroom potato (heals 20) without needing the "difficult" ingredient, sweetcorn. If the object is to make money, then you don't want to be gobbling expensive sharks in combat.

Runecraft is painfully low though... crafting better runes to use or sell is one of the pluses of members.

Membership is monthly, as much or as little as you use it
