Ok, well im not to sure how these calculations work out and was wondering if someone could help me.

 

 

 

I will have 110k yews, cut by myself soon. Now i plan to high alch these, and i was going to work out how much profit ,and overall cash i would have if i bought the nats and bs.

 

 

 

One problem, i just dont trust the calculations im coming out with.

 

 

 

If someone could lend a hand that would be cool. I will have about 4mil to buy the first 5k nats and bs with

 

 

 

And then i will just continue using the same 4 mil to buy materials in 5k bundles. (dont know if this information helps)

 

 

 

But then what ? where does this calculation go lol.... all help appreciated. :shock:

Take things one step at a time, 110k yews is an extremely high amount to cut and no offence, but i don't think you will ever complete that goal. Just do it in lots of 10k or as you are cutting the yews, 1k.

 

 

 

Cut 10k yews, buy 10k nats + 10k bs, make into yew longs, alch, repeat.

I have 99 wc and have cut 65k already ;) it isnt all that hard mate

Instead of cutting the remaining yews and getting pointless xp why don't you rc the nats. It is faster than wcing yews so you can get onto alching faster and achieve more rc levels :)

im doing the 110k yews for 94 mage... 99 magic is my main goal.

 

 

 

So anyone know what the total profit and overall cash is ? i was actually going to do all the nats and bs myself, but if i can still make a decent profit whilst buying... then i might not do it.

that sounds smart, it's also a nice break form a lot of cutting which can get very boring.

 

 

 

EDIT: for 65k yew longs alched with no materials bought, the profit is 49.92m

 

 

 

If you buy the nats and flax you subtract 19.5m for the nats and 5.85m for the flax leaving your profit at 24.57m

 

 

 

If you bought the bowstrings and not the flax, you would subtract 13m instead of 5.85 leaving you at 17.42m

 

 

 

For 110k yew longs alched with no materials bought, the total profit would be 84.48m

 

 

 

If you buy the nats and flax, the cost of nats is 33m and the flax is 9.9m leaving your profit at 41.9m

 

 

 

If you bought bs instead of flax, the cost is now 22m leaving your profit at 29.48m

I calculated highest prices per item currently on the market, 300gp for nat, 200 for bowstring, and 90 for flax. IMO, I would buy the flax only, the rc exp and crafting exp will be amazing for 110k of each item. No problem either, PM me for any questions.

Hmm what if i went with buying pure ess and BS ? what would i end up with ?

Pure ess is 90(highest) on the market right now so i'll stick to that. The loss would be 9.9m so the total loss would be 19.8m loss so 64.68m profit still. Not bad, that'd be my pick if you wanted my opinion.

 

 

 

EDIT: there is one problem that i didn't think of and you might not have as well, you do need the 19.8m BEFORE you can make the 64.68m profit. Do you have that kind of cash?

I have 21 range :shock: i have to say its one of the skills i hate the most, and i know i would need it higher for running to the abyss.(suggestions on level ?)

 

 

 

And Vlead, i do not currently have 19.8 mil to start with, hmm i suppose i could add 18,000 mages onto my list to cut... giving me the cash to buy all the stuff. or if i could get one of my RL mates to lend me some cash , as most other people i know on rs wouldnt trust giving me 10mil lol. (not that i have a bad rep or anything , havent ever asked anyone for cash lol)
