How do i get the accents over letters on my windows vista? I saw a site that had it step by step but it wasn't for vista, because i had no idea what to do O.o.(as in i didn't see where it was telling me to go, because it wasn't there...ect..)

You can either use good 'ol alt codes, or (I'm not sure about vista, so bear with me here), you can go to your control panel, and change your keyboard language to US International, then you can type apostrophes before letters like ̮̩̉̉ and give then accents.

 

 

 

I have no idea how you do that in vista, so I'll wait for someone to clarify it.

Yes the good old alt codes still work in Vista (just checked). You can also use the character map. Go to start > all programs > accessories > system tools > character maps.

I don't play anymore but when I did play there was no way to use them. Maybe somebody who still plays can give more insight.

as of right now, some alt codes do work in runescape, but not all. They changed it about a month or two back.

Regarding the alt codes, I recommend printing out this sheet and keeping it nearby (i.e sticking it somewhere). It proves to be very handy at times.
