Orpheus
I get the error message "Could not connect to the Steam network" I just installed Steam, and I went to the support site, but I do not know how to set up my router and firewall for Steam, help? I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.
adam_ross0
You downloaded and installed steam..did you create an account? It's been a while since I did, and I installed from the HL2 CD...so..it may be different. I do know for sure if you're using Norton Antivirus, it'll display a firewall message that you need to confirm.
NightHawK
Your firewall might be blocking it. If you use proxies to connect then steam is uselss unless you use direct connect. www.di-rs.com
Nadril
The obvious is you need an account. Following that make sure anything isn't blocking it (such as a firewall).
