66 to 80 Str p2p?

Featured Replies

I need a little help on trianing areas for 80 strength.

Stats:

50 atk

66 str

1 defence

44 prayer

70 range

60 mage

64 hp

59 combat

Note: Not sure stats matter but I want the best answer possible.

I've got mith gloves, climbers, fury, dhide chaps, iron armour. Rune scim/brine sabre, and all books(completed).

Please, no flaming or telling me what to do with my stats, I just need the fastest, semi-cheapest way to get it up.

I DO NOT like P.C. that much so, - not really an option-

My main choices - Waterbirth Crabs, Experiments and Flesh Crawlers. I'm not really fond of areas, so all advice is appreciated.

You should sell your fury to really buy better equipment and use a glory in its place. Buy other more suitable equipment like a rune plate and veracs skirt to use. Buy a dragon scimitar from players and just do slayer, training str as your attack style.

If you don't want to do slayer, you can always go for bandits with food (wear a sara or zammorak cape) or with the money you got from selling fury, buy full dharoks (full dh) and go to monkey guards on ape atoll temple if you finished mm. Get your hp low with the digsite liquid (hits 25), with anti poison, head there and pray hit the guards. There is a altar in the temple.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

Thank you for the slayer advice - I'll have to do burthorpe tasks because unless I 'Pro melee' with pots, I'll have to *not be hit*.

Any more advice? The more the merrier.

This is the method I used for 99 strength, with 40-45 defence.

1) Moss Giants - I know it sounds nooby, but you use little or no food, collect stackable drops like seeds, runes, and arrows, and oddly it seems like very fast exp if you know where to train. I myself suggest training in the Varrock Sewer/Edge Dungeon Moss Giants. Do not use this method if you can't use the pipe short-cut to Edge Dungeon. Simply go down there with high alchemy runes, a chisel, and a bit of food. Take a few strength pots because it is a cheap way to speed up training.

2) Fire Giants - If you do not have a D-Hally, I suggest getting one before trying this method. You can achieve the ability to wield one by completing the Regecide quest. As with mossies, take high alchs (or at least the nature runes as a lot of fire runes are dropped), a chisel, as much food as you can (you will waste a lot for inventory space, but it is needed at the beginning while the Fire Giants are aggressive), and some strength pots. Some highlights about the fire giants are that they have 111Hp, so that transfers into 444 Strength exp per giant.. they drop strength potions (2-dose), and quite a few other decent items.

3) Ankou - This method is best used with a Salve Amulet, or Salve Amulet (e) achieved from the Haunted Mine quest. You should use this amulet because it increases your att/str by 15%, and if enchanted, 20%. Head down to the Ankou with a chisel, a full inventory of food (again wasting will occur), and strength pots to speed up the process even more-so. Ankou drop a large number of blood and death runes, and also a varied number of other items that are worth picking up. If you can take rune/drag/torag down here with full guthans to recharge your Hp, then you will be able to virtually camp down here.

4) Slayer Tasks - This can be a good way to raise both your strength and slayer at a rather fast rate. If you decide to use this method be sure to use a Black Mask, as it raises your att/str levels by 15% versus slayer tasks. Use the highest level slayer master you can, and go to the Burthope slayer master if you want your task changed. Be aware you will have to do the task that he assigns. Your inventory in most cases will consist of high alch runes, a chisel, some food, and strength pots to further speed up training. Be sure to take any items that are required to kill your slayer task.

Thank you but are you sure I'll get all- more money back in return for the prayer pots used?? Remember I'm 1 defence...

Would the SAlve Amulet work on skelly's or zombies in the Varrock/Draynor dungeons??

I was also thinking of rune hallying the ogre's in Lutha's...

Well, I don't believe you would need prayer pots for most of the slayer tasks, the moss giants. There is an Island on the West coast of Brimhaven which you can access by rope swing with an agility level of 10. Slices of cake, which heal 4hp, respawn on this island. This may be an effective spot for you to train.

A salve amulet will work the same on skeletons, yes.

One last question though:

Skeletons/zombies OR Ogre hallying??

Thanks, and as a compliment, I just want to say that everytime I make a topic, you're the only one that understands and completes my questions =).

another option (if you got the slayerlevel) is bloodvelds: with bones to peaches and highalch runes you can stick there like forever and it isn't as crowded as ankou (no clues though)
