I was fighting a ranger in wildy, pretty evens all the way through till i hit a 12 red barring her and killing her, but when i hit the 12 she hit a 6 and koed me, we both died. How is this possible!? lol Because obviously she would of been 0hp??

My guess is that she would've att'd just before the damage was dealt, but due to latencys, you didnt see it until it hit you.

It's possible that you actually hit each other at the EXACT same time.

A recoil could do it, but recoils don't hit that high. Maybe you both just hit eachother at the same time?

isnt recoil p2p? this happenedin f2p it was strange because i hit, then she hit, we both died and saw each other in lummy..

Dude, ive died heaps of times at the same time as other people. There are a few ways, hit each other at the same time, ring of recoil, poisen, etc

My first "bs" fight in the wildy was like that too, we both died at the same time. I show up at lumby and see on the bottom that the other person dies too.

Server lag

 

 

 

What you are seeing on your screen does not occur at the

 

exact same time as when she is seeing it due to server and ISP lag.

 

 

 

For example, some players that I play with have a VDSL/DSL/cable connection.

 

Their "ping" time is 0.03 seconds, typically.

 

My "ping" time on a dial-up connection is typically 0.33 seconds.

 

In other words, they experience things 0.3 seconds sooner than I do.
