So I'm closing in on 99 Strength. I currently have 76 Slayer. Is there a specific monster I should kill till 99 or should I just keep going with my slayer tasks? If neither, where should I train? Don't say experiments as I'd rather not wish to deal with the hassle of that whole area... Thanks!

If you like making profit out of slayer do slayer. If not go to desert and train on bandits.

Bloodvelds have acceptable drops, high hp, low def and aren't as crowded as ankou

 

(altought I do my pure str training at ankou for clues (72slay, 88str))

Train slayer.

 

 

 

You might get to 80 slayer when you reach 99 str, then go to nechraels for those nice rune boots.

 

 

 

Overall, I think melee training combat in conjunction with slayer is the best bet anyway, because of the 2 birds-one-stone principle.

 

 

 

Mind you that magic and ranged might have better alternatives.
