Range Training: Cannon or Not?

Featured Replies

I'm trying my Range Pure (60+ Range, 1 in all other combat skills) and was curious if purchasing a Cannon would be a good idea?

Where are some good spots to train with a cannon?

Also, can someone link me to a nice 1-99 Range guide from the AoW Section? I couldn't find one that was P2P, thanks!

Cannon are great if you have the cash to support it. If not you could consider making your own c balls. Rock crabs is a great spot.

"Cannon or not?" can be translated to:

"HP or not?"

A cannon gives you only less xp than normal ranging, and no hp ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâ it is a slow and expensive method to raise your range faster. If you have the money to burn on the cannon and associated cballs, go for it.

NO CANNON! I seriously used like 4k c balls for like 51-53 range!

They don't give hp and hp is important. I think cannons are a waste of money. Unless ofcourse you want to level a.s.a.p... but they still waste (IMO)

Cannons are only useful for slayers, in my opinion. The range xp is bad, no hp and a hefty cost. The only upside is the slayer xp at dagannoths/kalphites and even that xp is slightly overrated.
