Sir_Squal0
What hits higher out of these? Crystal Bow? Karils Crossbow Rune Crossbow with mith/addy/rune bolts or tipped or enchanted? Anyone know? You can also wear something like unholy book or book of balance whilst using a rune crossbow. Dragon Drops - Legs[3]
mrmyk
Rune c'bow hits higher by far but I think it's only on the special. Without special crystal bow 10/10 hits the highest I think (someone confirm). Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements

Xeones
Obviously Rune Crossbow. But the bolts needed to hit high cost you millions of gp at a time. If you want to hit a nice number and manage your cash, Crystal Bow is your best choice. KO bow is a Rune Crossbow with Dragonstone tipped bolts. Sir_Squal0
how high would rune cross and rune bolts hit? without the dragonstone tips? And im guessing that dragstone tips cost alot? I am getting 5 mil from a friend to start me off, then i will start staking. Dragon Drops - Legs[3]

Great way to KO = MSB spec with rune arrows --> onyx bolt shot on rune x-bow THAT HURTS.
Sir_Squal0
when a bolt is enchanted, does it only do the effect when used in a special? So you do msb + rune special, then rune xbow + onyx special? or perhaps dragonstone? Dragon Drops - Legs[3]
Xeones
when a bolt is enchanted, does it only do the effect when used in a special? No. But the bolt special only has a chance of occurring. So you do msb + rune special, then rune xbow + onyx special? or perhaps dragonstone? MSB (Rune arrows) special > Rune X-Bow (Onyx/Dragonstone Bolts (e)) without special. Works because I've been redbarred from FULL HEALTH by it. 20-13-
Sir_Squal0
why not just fire 2 dragonstone/onyx bolts? Dragon Drops - Legs[3]
Xeones
why not just fire 2 dragonstone/onyx bolts? Because crossbow is slower, giving them a chance to eat twice. Really, do whatever you want...
visor27
I think that without special bolt tips or special attacks, as well as the cheapest by far and the most convienient in Castle Wars, the Crystal Bow is the way to go.
