You say that Maladrin did the original render, perhaps you could post the source pic to see exactly what you did. :roll:

 

 

 

I mean the render takes up 95% of the piece :-/

I didn't really do much, except some 2d. There wasn't really much to do. I'll do a version 2 of this, with brushing... but it won't look as simple.

If so you should at least make it look like the render. the text is far too bluury and theres no thick black shadow like the test of the image.

I did the coloring and texturing of the render. Tis all, this is a WIP btw, I mostly wanted comments on his render.

im getting bored of noise renders almost as much as "pixel" sigs

Can't compare em though, pixel requires skill.

judging from most of the pixels round here i wouldnt say so :P but there are decent pixel out there.
