The summer afternoon sky was a brilliant deep azure, the blazing sun lancing straight through Karl Marken̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s shades. There wasn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t a cloud in the sky. His Thunderbolt, Serial 743, was running perfectly, all systems green.

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅCutlass flight, this is cutlass leader. Turn 40 degrees right on my mark. Mark.̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Hola

Hmm.. not bad, not bad at all.

Eight kittens out of ten.

But one thing about you grammar I would like to point out-

When writing numbers less than one thousand, you should use the word, not the symbol. For example, instead of 3, use three, for all numbers except the ones spoken by the characters. Also, 1000lb should be one thousand pounds, or half a ton.

Marken slowly pulled the stick over, enjoying the simple manoeuvre

the bolded word is spelled wrong, it should be maneuver, not manoeuvre.

Other than that you did good. ::'

That's how it's spelled if you're British.

Great story.

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

what are you talking about? I'm of British descent (and have great pride in it) and I have never seen that word spelled that way...

Yes, I quite enjoyed the story too.

It's Xewleer: ZEW le ar, got it memorized?

Hermit of the Varrock Library and its proud guard.

I saw it in a movie...

A British girl was in a spelling bee and spelled maneuver like that, and the judges said that that was how it was spelled in Britain.

Wow, movies are always like real life aren't they.

Good story by the way.

Very good story. Is "kamerad" supposed to be "comrade," or is that just how the guy says it? It is underlined by red by my spellcheck, weird, but the spellcheck is also underlined in red. Either way, it still is amazing. Keep writing, though I doubt you need to hear that message anyway.

You have no idea how powerful words are....until they hit you in the head.
