October 9, 200718 yr I am very new to creating sigs and userbars and stuff, and I just wanted to see if this was a decent start at a userbar. This sig was when I was testing out ripple effects and stuff. Does it look ok? Edit: The format I chose darkened it or something..so it looks a little different. It's brighter than this. Thanks :)
October 9, 200718 yr The userbar is a bit simple, but good for a first. As for the signature, a pretty basic background, text and a slapped on render. Not that great to be honest. :( Try some different effects when doing either of those to make them look more appealing. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous
October 9, 200718 yr All signatures MUST have a border. Look further into signature tutorials, these are really basic and simple like Rainy_Day said. Start with reading some signature tutorials with brushes, you can download them at Deviantart.com. Later you will learn how to make extensive tags with C4D's and massive effects. Need help or advise? October 10, 200718 yr hey good try for a first man, I would have to agree with pyro work on some more techniques and even just completely mess with the program t learn some of ur own techniques and styles, work with layers, colors, and different brushes if needed. just get creative and messy with the program. Also another thing to work on is the opacity of images, you can also use the erase tool with a set opacity to aid in blending the image into the signautre. Another thing to work on is the font choice for the signature which is sometimes difficult to chose, you can try sites such as http://www.dafont.com to find addition fonts for your collection. Boarders can often be used to help your signature stand out, sometimes however they are not needed but in this case I believe even a 1-2pxl boarder would have helped. Overall your off to a great start, just keep working with it and you will better get a grip on how great and effective this program can be.
October 10, 200718 yr Author Thanks guys, I'll definitely check out some of those websites :) I knew that I would probably end up needing to use brushes for some decent-looking sigs, but I didn't want to jump in and overdo them or make it look worse..you know what I mean. Well, anyways..Thanks! :)

October 11, 200718 yr Author I'm looking for brushes that will create about the same effects as used in Rainy_day and hardwick246's signatures. Not that I want to copy or anything, but just to get a good idea of what brushes I should be looking at and all.
