Red_Ripper00
Requirements- Must have completed Fairy Tale Part 1, Hand in the Sand, One Small Favour, and Tribal Totem. Must have 55 agility, 53 farming, 59 slayer, 72 woodcutting, and the ability to defeat a level 167. Items- 1 Soft Clay, pot, 30gp, spade, machete, secateurs, woodcutting axe, plant pot, a few anti poisons, good food, good armor, a weapon. Items Suggested-Teleport runes to Ardougne, Charged Glory, Ring of Charos (U), Ring of Life, Attack and Strength Potions. Start the Quest by speaking to Horacio in east Ardougne. This is north of the estate agency. He will be in the front yard. When you speak to him ask him who he is. Then ask him if he needs help. Reply "sure, I enjoy a bit of gardening." He will ask you to get a special vien called the Jade Vine from Karamja but you will need help from Wizard Cromperty's magic. Head east to the market place and his house can be found North east of there. (the map will show tiled floor) Talk to him and after some begging he will agree to let you have one of his "instruments" if you help him get the last part from the R.P.D.T. From the market head south east to the bank and in a small building just south of it you will find two RPDT employees wandering around there. Talk to one of them and he will tell you about the package they received from Karamja. They tell you it stinks and the address on it was damaged by the water. They dont know who to give it to and they cant open the package because its against the rules of their job to do so as and RPDT employee. You then suggest that you could open it since you are not with the RPDT Items Required- 2 soft clay (for pot and lid) or 1 soft clay and a pot. Items suggested- Charged Glory for teleport to Edgeville. Open the smelly package and you will find a hand with a scrap of wizard's robe attached. Talk to the RPDT employees and then head back to Wizard Cromperty to see his package arrived. He will open and see that his "magical equipment" was broken during delivery, but all its really only a pot lid. Get your soft clay and pot from the bank and head to a pottery wheel (barbarian village or crafting guild) make your pot lid and and then report back to Wizard Cromperty in Ardougne. Items Required- 30 gp or ring of charos (u), armor, a weapon, food, Anti-Poison, machete, woodcutting axe, spade, pot and lid, secateurs, plant pot with soil. Items suggested- Ring of life, teleport runes to Ardougne, energy potions. He will relay a message to you from Horacio to speak with Garth. Go south to the docks and get a ride on the boat from Captain Barnaby to Brimhaven (30gp) As you get off the docks you will see a farming patch and you can find Garth patrolling the area with a spade in his hand. You ask him for some knowledge on root-cutting. He tells you that you will need to seal it off from being exposed to air and that you have to cut the roots CLOSE TO THE TRUNK. Now head to a bank, preferrably the Shilo Village bank. Bring teleport runes in case you almost die, armor, a weapon, woodcutting axe, machete, the pot and lid, secateurs, spade, and a plant pot with soil in it. It would be wise to bring a ring of life as well. When you leave Shilo Village Gate you head in a counter-clockwise direction of the border of Shilo Village until you get almost all the way back to where you started but there will be a river seperating you from the gate. You should be a little east of the Nature Altar. Look along the edge of the maze for what looks like the tail of a vine. You should be able to climb up it. I wrote down my movements when I did it but apparently using the holes in the ground and vines are random so I got a video off of YouTube of Ultimania92 walking through (MUCH APPRECIATION FOR THIS) Here's the link : http://youtube.com/watch?v=1Yn5ErJjeyc Now choose a spot and "dig loose soil" Cut the roots after doing so and immediately stick them in your plant pot and wait for it to grow. It may die or it may take. If it dies just move to another loose soil spot and retry. when it grows put it in your pot and put the lid on immediately to prevent it from dying. Now return to Horacio in Ardougne. Items Required-Trowel and Sealed Pot. You will present the vine to Horacio, but apparently he doesn't think he's a good enough farmer to plant the vine and he asks you to do it for him. Now use the sealed pot on the prepared farming patch and you will see a cutscene of the vine growing and thrashing about. Horacio will now ask you to kill it so it doesn't destroy the garden. Items Required- Armor, secateurs, axe, food, and an antipoison. Items Suggested-Ring of life, teleport runes, attack and strength potions. You will now fight the Wild Jade Vine, Level 167. You must attack it with a woodcutting axe, so I suggest you bring a good one. It attacks with melee if you are next to it, but if you try to distance yourself from it. it will attack with mage. I might have gotten lucky but I think towards the end is when it starts attacking more with magic because it didnt in the beginning. After defeating the vine you will have to cut the remains of it which are still squirming around. After the fight talk to Horacio and the two of you will make some comments with farming terms in them which are pretty corny. Finish the conversation with Horacio and you will complete the quest. Reward- 1 Quest Point, 24k farming exp, 40k woodcutting exp, 23k slayer exp, 15k agility exp, a new "Vine Farming Patch" and a Jade Vine Seed. If you are still holding on the the Hand that was causing trouble earlier in the quest you can take it to Zavistic Rarve in the magic guild and he will tell you that he is "Collecting" the pieces of Clarence to put together so he can be displayed in the Wizard's Great Hall. There is 10k magic experience along with 100 laws and 200 bloods per body part returned , which can be found as a drop from monsters in the maze You will now have acces to a new maze, slightly larger than Draynor Manor 8 new creatures Farming patch Transportation between Eagle's Peak and Karamja to the middle of the maze Tears of Guthix-style repeatable reward for two skills (plant the jade vine and kill it for farming and slayer experience Im thinking) Papaya seeds as a monster drop from maze monsters. blakdragon39
Aww :(. Wish I had known about the body party earlier. I dropped them once I figured that they were really completely useless for the quest...

Red_Ripper00
Im guessing that the "Tears of Guthix" type reward is being able to plant a vine and then kill it when it is fully grown in a week for farming and slayer experience. this is just a guess... also, im unsure about how many body parts there are... maybe, two feet, 1 hand (from quest) torso, both arms, and a head? I dunno. as for the maze after the quest: you can train here, use eagles as transport to karamja (maybe good for nature runes or to shilo village), getting body parts of course, and there are some "OK" runes that monsters drop.
