Well since the last update, everytime I load RuneScape it is very laggy, like the fire on the side is laggy and when I log in it is very laggy. I can't do anything either due to the extremity of the lag. I've tried deleting temporary internet files, updating Java, rebooting, switching to low detail, and a new browser. Nothing works.

 

 

 

BUT everything else on my computer works fine..

 

Suggestions?

I'm sure you read that before replying instead of just throwing out a generic reply to lag issues. :lol:

 

 

 

Have you tried deleting the .file_store_32 and .jagex_cache_32 folders in C:\Windows to force a complete reload of the game? Doing that sometimes helps clean out junk that could be causing problems. Have you tried different servers in various locations around the world?

Err, I'm not very tech savvy, so how would I delete those files? And the cache?

I was on RSOF and a guy said to right lcick on the "magic" ad and hit rrewind.. and it worked!!!!!

 

OMG I LOVE THAT GUY :D :D :D

No wonder then... you've got a PC that can not handle advertisements. :(

 

 

 

You therefore only have one option. Block "advert.runescape.com"... Sorry, but that is the only permanent fix. :(
