Well i dont really no if its a photo manip or a retouch. But its my first work with stuff like this :)

 

By the way, im new to PS, how do u make a backround transparent. (Been using GIMP)

It looks like a dup layer on overlay.

make a new transparent layer above the BG and then delete the BG, then the new layer is transparent.

I love the contrast of colours!

 

 

 

You make the semi dark bits really dark and make the lighter bits really light, it rules 8)
