April 8, 200521 yr Have a question, need some comment plz.. thankz :) If a system can only detect the maximum harddisk size 20gb (old system), what will happen if i insert another hdd, say 40gb? Will i spoil the 40gb hdd if i continue to use it even though the sytem does not recognise the hdd as 40gb.. and instead sees it as a 20gb hdd? Pls comment.. thank you very much!! :P
April 8, 200521 yr You will simple not be able to create a larger than 20 gigabytes partition on the drive. This should not affect the actual drive in any way, but it does feel like a waste of space.
April 8, 200521 yr Why cant it detect anything more than 20GB, could you not flash the bios to recognise it?
